Equity L/S Analyst - European Oil & Gas - Upward Trend

Our client, a Tier 1 multimanager platform, is looking to add an Equity L/S Analyst with strong sector expertise in European Oil & Gas equities.

We seek someone with excellent modelling skills and deep sector knowledge, and no prior shorting experience is required. This role would be ideal for an existing L/S Analyst, a Long-Only deep fundamental analyst, or a Private Equity investor with in-depth sector expertise looking to switch to L/S investing.

The hiring PM team spans 3 continents, with a strong track record of progressing analysts to risk-running responsibilities.

Compensation will be market leading and you will have opportunity to take real ownership of your coverage within the book.

About you

1. Currently working in a buyside role (L/S, LO, PE) with a focus on Energy / Oil & Gas
2. Excellent university qualifications
3. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with new challenges every day
4. Financial modelling and analysis skills
5. Deep passion and curiosity for the Energy equities space, with prepared materials to demonstrate this at interview
