Required Skills & Experience

• Active Secret Clearance (TS/SCI eligible)
• 7+ years of DoD enterprise boundary protection or CSSP experience
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, web proxies, or load balancers
• Experience performing DCO and DODIN operations
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, or CND)
• Experience with network security monitoring, troubleshooting, and cyber threat analysis
• Willingness to acquire one of the below Palo Alto certifications within 30 days of hire Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting Air Force enterprise networks
• TS/SCI Clearance Job Description Summary: • The Boundary Protection Engineer will secure and maintain DoD enterprise boundary defense technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers, web proxies, DNS) for the AFINC III program. Responsibilities include performing cyber defense operations, analyzing threats, troubleshooting security infrastructure, and protecting Air Force networks.
