SEND Teacher

SEND Teacher | Maidstone, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are looking for passionate SEND Teachers to join an impact-driven community dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. This is an opportunity to take control of your teaching journey, working flexibly and creatively to make a significant difference.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Plan lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback on student development.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2+ professional references.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
