RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in Orlando, FL.

Summary

We are seeking a highly technical Business Analyst to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering organizations. This individual will drive requirements gathering, solution delivery, and production support initiatives within modern software development environments. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with a deep understanding of software development, technical architecture, and engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Analyst will partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate requirements
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with engineering, product, QA, and support teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions
• Manage requirements from inception through implementation and production support
• Support Agile delivery teams by maintaining backlogs, refining user stories, and participating in sprint ceremonies
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test planning, and validation activities
• As a Business Analyst, you will track project issues, risks, and dependencies while helping drive resolution
• Collaborate with production support teams to understand operational processes and platform maintenance requirements
• Help prioritize initiatives and balance stakeholder expectations across multiple teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within a technology-focused environment
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working directly with software engineering and development teams
• Experience supporting software development projects from concept through implementation
• Experience operating in both Agile and Waterfall environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong relationship-building capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with both business and technical audiences
• Naturally curious and comfortable asking probing questions
• Collaborative and influential across cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Product Owner or highly technical Business Analyst
• Experience supporting web, mobile, and digital platforms
• Experience creating and managing user stories within Jira
• Familiarity with Salesforce environments
• Exposure to technical architecture concepts and engineering workflows
• Theme Park, entertainment, hospitality, or consumer-facing digital experience

Preferred Project Experience:
Candidates with experience supporting one or more of the following are highly desired:

• Developer Portals
• Observability Platforms
• Monitoring & Dashboarding Solutions
• Alerting & Reporting Platforms
• Developer Experience (DevEx) Tools
• Platform Engineering Initiatives
• Digital Product Development

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
