Lead NDT Inspector | Bremerton, WA | Hybrid | $90,000 - $110,000 Annually DOE

We're hiring on behalf of a respected marine surface preparation and painting contractor, recognized as the sole national provider with a dedicated mobile workforce serving every U.S. port. The Role

• Provide supervisory oversight and technical guidance to junior NDT inspectors.
• Perform Visual (VT), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Liquid Penetrant (PT) inspections on surface ship and submarine structures and piping.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on NDT for various projects.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of technical work instructions and NDT inspectors' Objective Quality Evidence.
• Conduct periodic surveillances on trade workers and NDT inspectors to identify trends and address non-conformance.
• Ensure NDT equipment on job sites is well-maintained and calibrated.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or GED.
• Qualified NDT Level II inspector in accordance with NAVSEA requirements (Tech Pub 271).
• Minimum of 5 years of NAVSEA NDT certification in Visual Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Ultrasonic Thickness Testing, and Ultrasonic Shearwave Testing.
• Experience with SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, follow instructions, and work independently and collaboratively.
