History Teacher Required for Secondary School in Lambeth
About the Role:
A highly reputable secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their successful History department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and inspire students in KS3 and KS4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and those who are newly qualified.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Develop and implement differentiated learning activities that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the History curriculum.
- Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
