About the role

This Global client is currently undertaking a significant HRIS transformation, and we're looking for an experienced Senior HR Systems Consultant to join the People & Culture team on a 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an HR Systems professional who enjoys taking systems from design and configuration through testing, implementation and go-live.

You'll work closely with People & Culture, Technology and key business stakeholders to ensure the new HR platform delivers a great experience for employees and managers, while integrating effectively with the wider technology environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Configure and build HR system solutions from agreed designs
  • Lead UAT, including test planning, scripts, test data, defect management and business sign-off
  • Assess the impact of system and process changes across payroll, finance, reporting and other connected systems
  • Coordinate integration and regression testing
  • Develop and deliver stakeholder communications, training and change activities
  • Support go-live, hypercare and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce manual workarounds
  • Support the decommissioning of the existing HR platform and secure retention of employee data
  • Partner with P&C, Technology and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
About you

You'll have:

  • 5+ years' experience implementing, configuring or supporting HR/People systems
  • Strong hands-on HRIS configuration and implementation experience
  • Proven experience with UAT, testing and defect management
  • Experience taking systems through go-live and stabilisation
  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
  • Experience working with system integrations and downstream data flows
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to influence and collaborate across a matrix environment
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, globally distributed organisation
