Job Description
Hansen Talent Group is seeking an AI Security Architect with extensive experience in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and the secure implementation of emerging technologies. This is a hybrid position in Columbia, SC, requiring onsite work Tuesday through Thursday.
The AI Security Architect will support the secure adoption of artificial intelligence across the enterprise by translating AI security, privacy, risk, and compliance requirements into practical architecture standards and controls. This position will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Privacy, IAM, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and business teams to ensure AI solutions are designed and implemented securely.
Duties:
Develop and maintain enterprise AI security architecture standards, reference architectures, secure design patterns, and minimum control requirements.
Review proposed AI solutions, models, integrations, connectors, plugins, and AI-enabled applications for security and architectural risks.
Evaluate data handling, access controls, encryption, logging, monitoring, retention, and integration safeguards for AI solutions.
Lead AI threat modeling activities focused on risks including prompt injection, data leakage, unauthorized access, model misuse, insecure integrations, and AI-enabled impersonation.
Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight for complex AI and security initiatives.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture and development teams to ensure solutions align with approved architecture and security standards.
Evaluate technical solutions, vendors, and emerging technologies and provide recommendations based on security, risk, cost, and business impact.
Serve as a technical escalation point for architectural decisions and provide guidance to project and development teams.
Collaborate with security, privacy, compliance, audit, IAM, vendor risk, and business stakeholders throughout solution design and implementation.
Develop and communicate security architecture documentation, standards, and implementation guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
IT experience with significant experience in enterprise architecture, security architecture, or related technical architecture roles.
Strong understanding of AI security risks, controls, and secure architecture principles.
Experience performing architecture reviews, security assessments, and threat modeling for complex enterprise technologies.
Strong knowledge of security concepts including identity and access management, encryption, data protection, logging, monitoring, and application security.
Experience establishing enterprise architecture standards and providing technical oversight for complex initiatives.
Ability to evaluate technical risks, architecture options, and business impacts and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and technical decision-making skills.
