Job Description

Designer Staff - Critical Infrastructure Solutions | Tysons, VA | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a globally recognized leader in designing, building, operating, and maintaining cyber-physical solutions for the nation's most critical facilities and infrastructure. The Role

  • Develop comprehensive, physically accurate layouts for electrical, communications, and other systems.
  • Create 3D models of pathways and circuiting based on engineering designs and specifications.
  • Adjust equipment layouts per VDC lead and engineering direction.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve conflicts.
  • Produce coordination/shop drawings, installation details, and sketches for field installation.
  • Review and analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals.

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years of commercial electrical field experience, or a combination of field experience and Designer experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation and a High School Diploma/GED.
  • 4+ years of experience with an Associate's degree, or 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in critical design software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BlueBeam.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), field installation best practices, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Eligibility for government security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
