HGV 2 Driver

Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our expanding logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of road safety and professionalism. Responsibilities

• Operate HGV 2 vehicles to transport goods between locations.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of cargo in compliance with regulations.
• Perform regular vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries.
• Adhere to all road safety and company policies while on the road.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.

• Valid HGV 2 (Class 2) driving license.
• Proven experience as an HGV 2 Driver.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Excellent driving record and commitment to safety compliance.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to handle varying delivery schedules.

£16.00-£17.00 per hour
