Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Cyber Operator/Field Engineer - Level 2 to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. In this job, you will:

• Coordinate/lead the preventative maintenance, repair, and construction/installation of Program systems including climbing a 100 ft tower
• Coordinate network connections and support new development of alternate network architectures
• Perform technical tasks and demonstrate problem-resolution actions for the Program systems.
• Assist the Program Integrated Logistics Specialist (ILS) with logistics support such as, but not limited to, shipping, receiving, kitting, Government Furnished Property/Equipment (GFP/GFE) inventory, and import/export
• Provide input to the operational analysis and quality evaluation of products and their related performance and update metrics.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnoses of malfunctions and errors to eliminate problems in minimum time.
• Must be able to support after hours and on weekends as needed.
• This position will involve 25-50% travel to remote sites, including foreign travel.
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree. Minimum High School Diploma is required
• Requires an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Security + Certification
• Must be able to obtain a US Passport
• Must be able to support after hours and on weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
• Experience with Network Architectures
• Construction experience
• Electronics background
• RF background
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Experience writing plans, reports, and procedures

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
