Professional Job Description
Seeking an RF Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in the telecommunication domain for a 6-month contract in Irving, TX (Hybrid from Day 1).
 The ideal candidate will specialize in RAN RF Engineering, analyzing and optimizing LTE and 5G wireless network performance.
 Key responsibilities involve monitoring and enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluating drive test data, conducting coverage/capacity analysis, and identifying network trends to maximize network efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
* RAN RF Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize LTE and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) performance, focusing on accessibility, retainability, mobility, and throughput KPIs.
* Drive Test & Coverage Analysis: Post-process and evaluate drive test log files, RF coverage maps, and interference metrics to resolve degradation issues and optimize cell sites.
* Capacity & Performance Engineering: Perform coverage/capacity analysis, parameter tuning, neighbor list optimization, and tilt/azimuth recommendation for macro/micro cell sites.
* Telecom KPI Monitoring: Monitor network performance trends across LTE/5G wireless infrastructure, delivering actionable recommendations to reduce drop calls and improve spectral efficiency.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with network operations, field engineering, and core teams to troubleshoot RF hardware failures, site outages, and cell-level anomalies.

Required Qualifications
* Domain Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on RF Engineering experience strictly within the Telecommunications / Telecom domain.
* Core Wireless Technologies: Deep technical expertise in 5G Wireless Networks and LTE (Long Term Evolution) RAN architecture.
* Specialized Capabilities: Proven proficiency in RAN RF optimization, KPI analysis, drive test data processing, and coverage/capacity planning.
* Work Setup & Location: Hybrid from Day 1 in Irving, TX (Strict requirement for local candidates).
