Lead SME - Structured Data Protection

We're looking for an experienced Lead SME - Structured Data Protection to join a growing cybersecurity team, providing technical leadership across structured data protection, data masking and anonymisation services within a highly regulated environment.

You'll act as the technical authority, shaping data protection strategies, supporting ongoing projects, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure sensitive data is identified and protected using industry best practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and design authority for structured data protection.
• Analyse data dictionaries, schemas and data flows to identify sensitive data.
• Define and recommend appropriate data protection, masking and anonymisation approaches.
• Support and enhance structured data masking services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party technology vendors to deliver secure, effective solutions.

Key requirements:

• Strong experience with database management systems (design, development or administration).
• Proven expertise in structured data security, data masking and anonymisation. Ideally using Delphix.
• Experience working within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Available to start at short notice.

Desirable:

• Experience with Mainframe technologies.
• Knowledge of data encryption technologies.
