Pega Senior System Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) to design, develop, and implement complex business applications using Pega PRPC/Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Pega application architecture, case management, integrations, performance optimization, and Pega best practices.

The candidate will provide technical leadership and guidance to Pega development teams while contributing to the design and delivery of multi-process BPM/BRE solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex applications using Pega PRPC and Pega Platform.
• Lead or support the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of Pega solutions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Pega application designs.
• Design and develop complex case management workflows, processes, portals, and user interfaces.
• Apply Pega application design concepts, case design principles, and development best practices.
• Develop reusable components, functions, rules, and application features.
• Design and implement Pega integrations with external systems and services.
• Work with Rule Utility Functions, Reporting rules, Flows, SLAs, Agents, and Portals.
• Manage class structures, rulesets, product creation, and deployment across environments.
• Enforce Pega guardrails and best practices across the development team.
• Analyse and troubleshoot application issues using Pega debugging tools, Alerts, logs, SMA, and other performance monitoring tools.
• Analyse application performance and recommend appropriate optimization and remediation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Pega developers and team members.
• Lead project modules, technical workstreams, or development activities as required.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, and other technical teams in a multi-disciplinary Agile environment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, design discussions, code reviews, and technical walkthroughs.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, reusable, and aligned with Pega architecture standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience in Pega development and application architecture.
• Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with Pega PRPC and Pega Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Pega application architecture and system design.
• Extensive experience with case design and case management.
