JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking an Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to support and enhance technology used across retail and outpatient pharmacy operations. This role will partner with pharmacy, operational, revenue cycle, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable Epic solutions, maintain production stability, and improve medication-related workflows. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Epic pharmacy experience, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently manage priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

·         Design, configure, test, implement, and support Epic Willow Ambulatory solutions for retail and outpatient pharmacy operations.

·         Evaluate pharmacy processes and translate operational requirements into effective, scalable Epic configuration and workflow improvements.

·         Support end-to-end prescription and medication workflows, including intake, fulfillment, dispensing, charging, inventory visibility, and related point-of-sale processes.

·         Provide ongoing production support by troubleshooting application issues, completing system maintenance, identifying root causes, and implementing enhancements with minimal operational disruption.

·         Partner with pharmacy operations, pharmacy leadership, revenue cycle, IT, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, and the user experience.

·         Support integrated testing, application upgrades, workflow validation, implementation activities, go-lives, and post-deployment stabilization.

·         Assist with integrations between Epic and third-party pharmacy applications, dispensing technologies, vendor platforms, and other systems supporting retail pharmacy operations.

·         Collaborate with technical, interface, and vendor teams to troubleshoot cross-system issues, validate solutions, and escalate risks or dependencies when appropriate.

·         Coordinate periodically with Epic Willow Inpatient resources on shared medication workflows, enterprise initiatives, upgrades, and configuration standards.

·         Manage assigned application work and small-to-medium initiatives while balancing planned enhancements with time-sensitive production support needs.

·         Maintain application build documentation, workflow materials, testing records, and support resources in accordance with established change management and governance practices.

·         Communicate project status, technical considerations, operational risks, and recommended solutions clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
