Database Administrator

Database Administrator (SQL Server) Department: IT Location: Rushmere We're looking for an experienced Database Administrator to support and optimise our Microsoft SQL environment across on-premise and cloud platforms. What You'll Do Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments Support database security, access management, patching, backup and recovery processes Deliver database improvements, upgrades, and migration projects Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions Participate in on-call support and major incident management What You'll Bring Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA in a complex enterprise environment Expertise in performance tuning, backup/recovery, security, HA/DR and Azure SQL Knowledge of SQL scripting, PowerShell and database administration best practices Experience working within ITIL service management environments The company Pilgrim's Europe produces some of the best-known and most iconic brands in the UK and Ireland, including Fridge Raiders, Rollover, Denny, Richmond, Oakhouse and Moy Park, alongside a diverse range of industry leading own-label products in categories including fresh pork, lamb and chicken, working with all the major retailers and food service outlets.
