We're hiring for an impact-driven community organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide vital support, fostering a nurturing and creative learning environment.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils from KS1 to KS5.
• Support learners referred by local authorities and schools, focusing on their individual educational and emotional well-being.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning difficulties, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Work with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners to foster their academic and personal growth.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching core subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.
