Job Description

We're looking for an experienced, US-based Epic professional to support health data exchange work. The focus is provider EMR connectivity: configuring, optimizing, and tracking how provider data flows to the payer. This work supports HEDIS optimization and supplemental data initiatives, with the goal of improving member outcomes and lowering healthcare costs. We're open to candidates at either the Analyst or Manager level.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support project identification, scoping, and provider socialization for EMR connection and supplemental data initiatives
  • Handle the configuration side of provider EMR connectivity: targeted extract creation and optimization, filtering and mapping configuration, membership delivery, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Build and maintain project tracking that gives leadership visibility across HDE, HEDIS, and Provider Enablement workstreams
  • Analyze and communicate opportunities with vendors and providers, and track progress on live and optimized capabilities
  • Prepare materials that streamline provider adoption
  • Manager level: lead and coordinate work across clinical, IT, and payer stakeholders, and guide execution against timelines and milestones
Required Qualifications
  • US-based, with general availability of 8am-5pm CST ideal (flexible in either direction)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least one Epic certification: EpicCare Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Referrals and Authorizations, Care Everywhere, Health Information Management, or Bridges
  • Payer or large academic health system Epic experience, including managerial experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to HEDIS, Clinical Documentation Integrity, Release of Information, Risk Adjustment, Value-Based Care, and/or CMS-0057
  • Proficiency in Epic Clarity, the Epic Clinical Data Model, and/or Cogito Tools Admin
  • BI development skills such as query optimization and job automation (SQL, JSON, Python, SSMS)
  • Clinical background
  • Prior experience on an EMR vendor's implementation or technical services team
