Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI / MLOps Engineer to join our team at Client in Pleasanton, CA. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), MLOps, CI/CD automation, and production AI deployments. Candidates with experience in retail or e-commerce environments and AI use cases such as recommendation engines and demand forecasting will be highly preferred.

This role requires someone who has built and supported production-grade AI platforms, automated ML pipelines, and worked closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end MLOps pipelines for the complete machine learning lifecycle.
• Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML model deployment using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Build and optimize machine learning workflows using Azure Databricks.
• Deploy AI/ML applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Develop and support production AI models including recommendation engines and forecasting solutions.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar Agentic AI platforms.
• Monitor production AI systems and resolve incidents using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps Engineers, and Product teams.
• Improve reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation across AI platforms.
• Support enterprise AI initiatives within a large-scale cloud environment.
