About the role

Salt has partnered with a leading health technology company in Australia that is seeking a Senior WordPress Developer (with some React Native experience preferred) to join their Sydney team. The role involves taking ownership and ongoing development of the company's WordPress website and its React Native mobile app, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and the CEO/Founder in a tight knit, mission driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the WordPress website and React Native mobile app.
• Manage the ongoing development and maintenance of both platforms.
• Roll out new features and improvements for the website and app.
• Collaborate with the CEO/Founder and Digital Marketing Manager to solve problems and refine functionality.
• Develop tools that help educate healthcare professionals and optimise patient experience across Australia.
• Add value to the company's overall technology environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building complex WordPress websites.
• Experience with React Native for mobile application development (highly desirable).
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong focus on user experience design.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage workload independently while also collaborating within a small team.
• Ownership mindset, accountability, and strong problem solving capabilities.
