Job Description

Sittercity is seeking an experienced sitter to support our Chicago-based team by testing and improving our caregiver marketplace. In this role, you'll act as a real-world user of our platform, providing feedback on matching, booking, and communication tools while occasionally assisting internal staff families with childcare. You'll help validate safety workflows, mobile app features, and caregiver profiles, ensuring a seamless, trusted experience for parents and sitters. Ideal candidates bring proven childcare experience, comfort with technology, strong communication skills, reliability, and a passion for helping families find safe, flexible care solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Test and provide feedback on Sittercity's caregiver marketplace and mobile app
  • Simulate real user journeys for families and sitters to identify usability issues
  • Assist with occasional childcare for internal staff families as needed
  • Validate and report on safety, screening, and booking workflows
  • Document bugs, edge cases, and improvement ideas for product and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers on feature refinements
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Adhere to Sittercity's safety, privacy, and trust standards in all interactions
