Lead Install Electrician – Residential

A leader in residential electrical services is hiring for an experienced Lead Install Electrician to oversee residential installation projects. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality electrical work, coordinating installation activities, and ensuring projects meet applicable safety standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead residential electrical installation projects, including whole-home rewiring, generator installations, and other electrical upgrades.
• Perform and oversee electrical installations in accordance with applicable codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
• Communicate with customers regarding project details, progress, and questions while providing a professional service experience.
• Train, support, and mentor apprentices and other team members to promote safe work practices and quality workmanship.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and identify effective solutions to technical challenges.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and use digital tools, including an iPad and email, to support daily operations.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain technical knowledge and improve installation practices.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience in residential electrical installation, including complex installation projects and home rewiring.
• Ability to lead projects independently and work effectively with other electricians and apprentices.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, installation procedures, and jobsite safety practices.
• Valid electrical license appropriate for the position.
• Driving record that meets applicable insurance requirements.
• Strong communication, customer service, and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency with an iPad, email, and basic digital documentation tools.

Key Qualifications

• Approximately 15 or more years of residential electrical installation experience.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician credentials preferred.
• Technical education or an associate degree in a related field is beneficial.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, workplace safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to mentor developing electricians and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Willingness to participate in required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check, physical examination, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review.
