JOB DETAILS
To carry out service visits to reported calls throughout the companies' customer base within a specified region. The successful candidate will establish and promote the attributes of a professional service support operation and adapt and develop service needs in line with changes in manufacturer products and functionality.
- Respond to customer service requests for the repair of business equipment and production printers
- Carry out fault diagnosis and establish effective repairs through adjustment cleaning or replacement of spare parts
- Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations from service management
- Work with colleagues to help overcome new or unusual faults
- Invoke the call escalation process in a timely manner
- Inform the customer on the work carried out and gain acceptance to the machines condition and performance following the service work you have completed
- Carry out the installation of equipment sold by the company and ensure the machine performs to the customers satisfaction
A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role is fully remote and home-based. Attendance at our offices is required periodically for team meetings and training.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience of fixing production printers and digital presses - such as Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Xerox, Sharp, Canon.
- Experience in the office equipment industry
- Technical skills, with a strong electronic and mechanical background
- Strong IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and to set up scanning functions
- The ability to provide first class customer service with previous customer facing experience.
ENHANCED DBS:
This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. As the position is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, applicants are required to disclose all spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and final warnings that are not protected under the Exceptions Order 1975. SC CLEARANCE:
For this role, you will be required to obtain SC Clearance - which includes a basic criminal record check.
