Job Description

Projekttechniker | Kassel, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Provide technical support to projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Oversee and support the procurement of purchased parts and in-house manufacturing of assemblies.
  • Assist in the assembly and commissioning processes.
  • Participate in project progress meetings and lead meetings for assemblies regarding series production, retrofits, and modifications.
  • Ensure internal and external reporting.
  • Initiate, monitor, and coordinate retrofit measures and modifications on assemblies and complete artillery systems at various national and international sites.
  • Manage, steer, and monitor project-related customer-supplied items.
  • Enter and process retrofit activities and measures in the LIMS database.
  • Coordinate and monitor the provision of materials and work equipment.
  • Identify needs and create timelines.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients regarding retrofit measures.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and manage follow-up actions as needed.

What You'll Need

  • Completed further training as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician.
  • Several years of experience in material processing or assembly.
  • Strong technical understanding and initial experience in the defense technology sector.
  • Good English language skills (written and spoken) are desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
  • Proactive and very reliable work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong assertiveness, and high resilience.
  • Exceptional organizational talent, teamwork, and social skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
