We're hiring on behalf of a reputable organization that plays a critical role in supporting major submarine shipbuilding programs. This company is known for its impactful contributions to national defense and offers a professional atmosphere for its employees.

The Role

• Provide essential support to key Submarine Ship Building (SHAPM) Program Offices, including PMS 397 (COLUMBIA Class), PMS 450 (VIRGINIA Class), PMS 351 (SSN(X)), and SEA 05Z (Marine Engineering Competency Domain).
• Contribute to the enhancement of structures and processes within the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities under the TEAM SUB concept.
• Apply scientific and mathematical principles to develop innovative and economical solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Engage in the design of products and machinery, and the development of new materials to improve performance and leverage technological advancements.
• Analyze the environmental and user impact of developed products and designed systems.
• Oversee testing, production, and maintenance, ensuring quality and project efficiency.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in any technical or engineering discipline.
• 7 years of professional engineering experience (desired).
• 7+ years of experience in the design, test, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment (desired).
• Knowledge and experience with Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (desired).
• Experience with large electrical machines and/or power electronics (desired).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a secret security clearance.
