Senior Java/JEE Developer

Richmond, VA (Onsite required 2 days per week)

06+ Months contract with possible extension
Need local candidates only

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years Java development (J2EE, EJB, JSF)
  • 10+ years Spring and Spring Boot

  • 10+ years Oracle SQL scripting

  • 10+ years experience on WebSphere Application Server or equivalent

  • 8+ years using GitHub and CI/CD pipelines

  • 5+ years Python programming

  • Proven experience building microservices and REST APIs, ensuring secure and scalable solutions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with event-driven architectures and cloud-native patterns

  • Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and encryption standards

  • Knowledge of automation tooling for continuous integration/deployment
