Job Description

Summary TTG Solutions is seeking a full stack developer to support our backend development team with a focus on middleware and backend services. We are looking for an individual with strong expertise in search technologies and big data environments.Description The role involves performing schema updates, submitting Lucene queries, and optimizing Solr/Elastic performance and query response. The developer will work in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase. Additionally, this position requires extensive hands-on backend Java development, including code reviews, unit testing, and deployment to production environments.Experience LevelSubject Matter Expert Normally requires at least sixteen (16) years of experience specific to the skill or occupation. For specific computer languages, systems or technologies, expertise with the subject matter or technology outweighs the number of years of experience. Requirements: 16 yrs+
Required Skills
* Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
* Performing schema updates
* Significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
* Understanding of Solr/Elastic shard functionality
* Experience in tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, Hbase
* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on backend Java development experience
* College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degreeOptional Skills

Base Salary $180,000 - $218,000 PTO 30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays. Retirement 15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years. Paid Benefits Company pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you. Annual Bonuses 3% to 5% annual bonuses. Cell Phone Stipend $100 monthly phone expense reimbursement. Base Salary $218,000 Base salary for position. Retirement $32,700 15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years. Benefits Budget $43,600 20% company paid Individual Benefits Account (12% for 30-days PTO, 8% for Insurances). If your insurance or PTO expenses are less than this, we bonus the difference to you. Annual Bonus $10,900 Annual bonus, 3% to 5% on average. Training Budget $2,500 Annual training budget. Training Hours $2,500 3 paid days for training.
