Engineering Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a major industrial manufacturing operation in East Lothian. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving plant reliability, maintenance performance, safety standards and continuous improvement across a large-scale 24/7 manufacturing facility.

Working as part of the senior management team, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage maintenance budgets, oversee major shutdown programmes and develop long-term asset management strategies.

Key Responsibilities Lead all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities<br />Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve reliability and performance<br />Manage maintenance budgets and capital expenditure projects<br />Drive health, safety and environmental excellence<br />Lead plant shutdown planning and execution<br />Utilise CMMS systems to optimise maintenance effectiveness<br />Drive root cause analysis and defect elimination initiatives<br />Develop and mentor engineering teams<br />Manage contractors and external suppliers<br />Support continuous improvement and operational excellence programmes About You Engineering Degree required<br />NEBOSH qualified<br />Significant experience within heavy industrial manufacturing<br />Proven maintenance leadership experience<br />Experience managing large engineering teams<br />Strong budget management experience<br />Knowledge of CMMS systems<br />Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills<br />Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives What's On Offer Senior leadership position<br />Significant operational influence<br />Opportunity to shape long-term engineering strategy<br />Career development opportunities<br />bonus scheme<br />Car/car allowanceApply now for a confidential discussion
