Java Developer (Remote)

An established financial services organization is seeking a Java Developer to support remote application development, modernization, and CI/CD initiatives. This role focuses on building and enhancing Java/Spring applications, reusable components, and automated build and deployment processes.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday


• Hours: Standard business


• Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and support Java/Spring applications


• Build web applications and reusable application components


• Participate in application redesign and performance improvement efforts


• Support automated builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipeline migrations


• Troubleshoot and resolve application and deployment issues while collaborating with development, QA, and engineering teams

Qualifications:

• Strong Java development experience


• Experience with Spring or the Spring Framework


• Experience with Maven and Jenkins


• Experience supporting automated builds and deployments


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Hibernate, or JMS


• Experience with GitLab and Jira


• Experience in highly regulated financial services environments
