Data Architect

NewGen is seeking a Data Architect with extensive experience building enterprise data solutions in both Databricks (Unity Catalog, Hive Metastore) and AWS (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) and managing a data warehouse.

 Required:

• Significant experience data modeling (e.g. understanding when to use dimensional vs relation data models)
• Databricks (Unity Catalog, Hive Metastore)
• AWS (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)
• Familiarity with medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver Gold). Additionally,
• Solid communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and explain the tradeoffs in architectural design.
