.Net Developer

Location: Cedar Park, TX (Hybrid (2 days/week in office))

Duration: 12+ months Contract

In this role, you will take technical ownership of our core enterprise key platforms and vendor applications (including ERP, ESM/ITSM systems, or Contact Center). This is a unique hybrid position where you will use your C#/.NET and full-stack development skills to build custom platform integrations, while managing operational reliability to guarantee maximal uptime. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong "learning-on-the-fly" competency who enjoys bridging software code with system infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Application Ownership & Technical Support
• Technical App Ownership: Serve as the primary application owner for key enterprise vendor platforms, providing technical support and resolving business issues independently and in a timely manner.
• Vendor Collaboration: Partner with external PEC vendors on operational activities, including system patching, infrastructure updates, and deploying major releases.
• Uptime & Reliability: Maintain assigned production applications to achieve maximal uptime, using automation and monitoring to ensure continuous platform availability.
• Full-Stack Development & Solution Engineering
• Integration & Software Development: Actively involve yourself in the design, development, and architecture of custom platform integration solutions. Develop clean API services and tools using a C#/.NET tech stack.
• Frontend UI & Scripts: Maintain and build supporting interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Database Development: Write and optimize queries for core platform databases, working across systems like MSSQL, Oracle DB, or PostgreSQL.

Requirements:

<>Required Skills:

• Software Engineering & Database Core
• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with a proven track record of resolving technical issues and programming defects independently.
• Backend & Frontend Stack: Hands-on experience as a C#/.NET programmer, alongside core front-end skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Database Development: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL database development (MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• SDLC & Agile: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with requirements analysis, system design, or test-driven programming is preferred. Familiarity with Scrum Agile methodologies is required.
• Systems Engineering & Operations
• System Infrastructure: Foundational understanding of system engineering concepts, including firewalls, DNS, caching mechanisms, and SFTP.
• OS Administration: Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux system administration, including hands-on or educational knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).

• Preferred Pluses: Prior hands-on experience in an Operations Engineer role or foundational DevOps knowledge is a major plus.
