SW Engineer

MantaRay NM is a cutting-edge network management platform enabling telecom providers to operate, optimize, and assure complex networks through automation, analytics, observability, and intelligent fault management.

We are looking for Software Engineers passionate about building scalable, cloud-native solutions. You will design, develop, and enhance next-generation observability applications, leveraging modern technologies and automation frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software.

• Independently design, develop, debug and maintain scalable cloud-native applications
• Own microservices and APIs and raise the bar on quality, scalability, security and reliability
• Deliver and deploy with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift and CI/CD
• Use Agentic AI as part of the standard workflow; build solutions that speed up development, testing and automation
• Coach juniors on design, quality and AI-assisted engineering

You have:

• A Graduate/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering cloud-native, distributed software systems using Java (Spring Boot)/ Python
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI and/or Jenkins)
• Exposure to Agentic AI/AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, or equivalent).

Nice to have:

• Experience with SOAP APIs, Oracle/PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting, automation, and strong development experience in Java and Python.
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
