A multi-billion dollar global technology leader in the chemical industry is seeking a Senior Product Manager to manage overall product lines and ensure material availability in support of business growth objectives. This role combines classic product management responsibilities with significant supply chain, plant coordination, and operational execution responsibilities, managing product lifecycles for domestic and imported products, including new product registrations, commercialization readiness, and production scale-up.

Schedule: Full-time, hybrid, with domestic and international travel as required.

Compensation: $123,000 to $153,000 per year, based on experience, plus annual bonus potential of 8 to 12% and sign-on bonus.

What You'll Do:

The Senior Product Manager supports the product portfolio, new product registration, commercialization, and product scale-up across assigned business units, coordinating Sales, Technical, Product Development, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and Operations activities to develop, launch, supply, and rationalize products. This includes working with Business Directors and Sales Managers to align product plans with customer requirements and business objectives, and owning demand planning for all product lines by integrating forecasts, actual sales, inventory, and supply constraints.

The role monitors production schedules, inventory, and customer orders, coordinates supply for domestic and export customers, and establishes inventory and replenishment requirements to support customer service. The Senior Product Manager serves as the primary commercial interface with the plant and manufacturing organization, converting customer demand into executable production, purchasing, and logistics plans, and participates in plant production and supply-planning reviews.

The role owns inventory levels for all product lines, including slow-moving, excess, and off-specification material, leading MRB reviews and disposition planning with cross-functional teams. The Senior Product Manager directly manages Customer Service personnel, including staffing, training, and performance management, aligning Customer Service priorities with product line and supply chain requirements, and establishing measures for order accuracy, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• College degree in business or a technology-related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a chemical-related business, specifically in supply chain, product management, or planning
• Elevated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• SAP experience (S/4HANA preferred)
• Ability to analyze historical, forecast, and budget sales data and recommend actions to ensure supply
• Direct customer experience
• Supervisory experience managing Product Managers, Product Specialists, or Customer Service personnel
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• S/4HANA experience specifically, within SAP
• Experience presenting to customers and prospects on products and services
• Strong negotiation skills
