Location: Jersey City, NJ


Duration: Contract - 6 months


Pay Range: $75/hr - $85/hr (W2)

Job Description


We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in hands-on software development, primarily using GoLang. This role focuses on developing APIs and cloud platform services that support infrastructure across the organization. The ideal candidate is an analytical, independent problem-solver with strong coding skills and experience designing scalable services.


Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs and cloud platform services.

  • Write hands-on code in GoLang to build scalable, reliable solutions.

  • Deploy and support services in Kubernetes-based environments.

  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD processes.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and design reliable solutions.


Required Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of software development experience.

  • Strong hands-on development experience with GoLang.

  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably EKS.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.

  • Ability to clearly explain API design and development decisions.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, or infrastructure as code.

  • Familiarity with Python or Google Cloud Platform.
