Underwriter - Surety

Eames are working with a leading global insurer who are looking to hire a Surety Underwriter into their London team. The role is focused on underwriting large, complex corporate surety risks across a broad range of sectors including construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, defence, renewables, oil & gas, shipbuilding and mining. They are particularly interested in candidates from banking backgrounds, including project finance, leveraged finance, corporate credit, loan origination / syndications or structured finance. Previous surety or insurance experience is not required.

The role offers strong exposure to financial analysis, credit assessment, client interaction and international business, with the opportunity to develop within a small, experienced team writing sizeable risks across a global portfolio.
