The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security professional to lead a team of around six analysts at an established law firm.

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day security operations, support team development and work closely with the wider IT department to protect the firm's infrastructure, manage vulnerabilities and strengthen its security posture.

This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with team leadership, contributing to cloud security initiatives and cyber incident response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Cyber Security team, managing workloads, performance and service delivery.
  • Oversee vulnerability management, patching, system hardening and security monitoring.
  • Support Azure security initiatives and cloud migration activities.
  • Work with infrastructure and IT teams to embed security across systems and services.
  • Lead cyber security incident response, investigations and post-incident reviews.
  • Maintain security procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and service levels.
  • Monitor emerging threats and drive continuous improvement across security operations.

About You

You'll have experience leading or supervising a technical security team, alongside a strong understanding of cyber security technologies and infrastructure.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience implementing or managing Azure security technologies.
  • Knowledge of SIEM, Firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability management and incident response.
  • A solid understanding of security risk, ISO 27001 and IT service management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment would be beneficial, alongside relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH or CCNA.

The Organisation

Join an internationally established law firm that values collaboration, innovation and professional development, offering a supportive and inclusive working environment.

Interested? If you're ready to take the next step in your cyber security career and lead a team making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
