SEN / SEND Tutor | Birmingham, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking dedicated SEN/SEND tutors to join a leading education support organisation that is committed to transforming the lives of young people with special educational and mental health needs. The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1-KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Prepare lesson reports and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Engage with children and young people with a range of learning difficulties including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Collaborate with schools and local authorities to raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
