Float Pool (Critical Care) RN OOJ - 31903

Job Description

The RN will be tasked with caring for patients in the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit and function in the capacity of a Critical Care Float Nurse. This person will also follow and abide by the Practice Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), and approved standards of care of the Corporation.

Float Pool (Critical Care) RN

• Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
• Facilitate patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis
• Provide plan based care with a commitment to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent (within the last year or two) acute care Critical Care RN experience within unit required
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
• Current BLS required
• Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
• BSN is preferred
