Utilities Planner | Salford, United Kingdom | On-site

The Role

  • Act as the primary contact for the operational team before works commence, ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Take full accountability for the planning and streetworks aspects of all projects prior to site commencement.
  • Coordinate workstreams from receipt through to completion, managing job orders in line with SLAs.
  • Identify and address potential noticing issues early to ensure compliance and minimize financial impact.
  • Maintain accurate and timely input of information into works management systems, escalating any issues as needed.
  • Ensure client and operational requirements are met efficiently and professionally, while optimizing routes and productivity.

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience in utilities planning or a similar coordination role is ideal.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload, multitask effectively, and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with NRSWA regulations and streetworks compliance.
  • Familiarity with works management systems and reporting.
