Full Stack Developer Ashburn, VA / Remote U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required as a precondition of employment Blu Omega is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a federal program. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for developing end-to-end software systems. The position requires experience supporting software development in an agile environment, with a focus on building scalable, accessible web applications. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement modern architectural solutions that address current and future system needs, leveraging cloud environments and DevSecOps practices. Program Overview Mission overview: Support the development of systems that enhance public health data modernization efforts Key Details Location: Remote Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required as a precondition of employment Responsibilities * Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications using frameworks such as React and TypeScript * Collaborate with backend developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to integrate front-end and back-end components using technologies like C#, .NET, and SQL/PostgreSQL * Utilize Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices to maintain code quality and ensure secure deployments * Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance while recommending system improvements * Support application development and deployment within cloud environments, leveraging cloud-native tools for scalability and reliability * Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to solution design discussions * Apply emerging technologies and frameworks to improve team efficiency and delivery Required Qualifications * 3+ years of experience with designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software applications * Experience building or integrating applications using coding-based GenAI capabilities * Experience with Java, Python, .NET, React, or other modern frontend frameworks * Experience with SQL (Postgres preferred) databases and familiarity with NoSQL technologies * Experience working in an Agile scrum team * Ability to develop complete solutions using back-end and front-end languages Preferred Qualifications * 3+ years of software engineering experience * Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment * Ability to interpret client requirements and resolve workflow issues through automation * Experience with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance * Masters degree Compensation Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
