The Role

• Develop and deploy secure network solutions to support critical missions for the Department of Defense.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand strategic goals and operational needs, translating them into network requirements.
• Plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components.
• Resolve interoperability issues across various platforms and hardware.
• Enhance backbone networks, cloud technologies, and core networking capabilities.
• Work with classified networks, ensuring compliance and security.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks.
• Proficiency in layer 2 and layer 3 networking concepts.
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network and security equipment (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HPE, VMware).
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, L3VPNs.
• Experience with classified networks and maintaining a Secret clearance.
• High School diploma or GED required.
