Job Description


We are seeking an Innovation Policy Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AI, wearables, virtual reality, and innovation policy and a proven ability to design and execute stakeholder experiences and advocacy campaigns that demonstrate the value and impact of emerging technologies.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead demos that provide policy audiences with hands-on experiences using AI solutions, wearables, and VR.

  • Design, develop, and execute innovation policy experiences and events that educate policy stakeholders.

  • Develop strategic outreach programs and policy campaigns that advocate for the economic and social value of AI innovation.

  • Support engagement with policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, key opinion formers, and non-profit groups to contribute to public dialogue on innovative technologies.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Communications, Partnerships, and global policy teams to build and drive programs and campaigns that demonstrate the value of AI innovation.

  • Build coalitions with external organizations to advance company policy goals.

  • Develop and project manage policy programs and campaigns, including for new AI products.

  • Independently manage smaller advocacy campaigns or co-manage larger campaigns, serving as a primary client lead when needed.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to champion AI innovation.

  • Travel domestically on a frequent basis to support events, demos, and stakeholder engagement.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in public policy, law, political science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in policy or legal roles focused on AI or related technologies.

  • Knowledge of AI solutions and policy considerations for emerging technologies.

  • Ability to design and execute stakeholder experiences, events, and outreach campaigns.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with AI technologies, wearables, VR, and related policy environments including security, privacy, integrity, and competition.

  • Experience developing policy programs and campaigns and engaging policy stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with open-source innovation and ecosystem partnerships.
