This is a commissioned role. The Associate Account Manager is an entry-level sales and account management role within Solidigm’s Global Sales Group (GSG). Solidigm is a leader in advanced NAND technology and SSD solutions serving Hyperscaler, OEM, Neocloud and NAS customers. This role supports account teams in developing customer relationships, coordinating internal execution, tracking account priorities, and contributing to business outcomes across assigned accounts. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to develop commercial, operational, and technical knowledge in the semiconductor and storage industry. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work directly with some of the world's largest AI infrastructure, cloud, OEM, and storage customers while developing the commercial and technical skills required for future Account Manager roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support account managers and Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) in understanding customer needs, tracking account priorities, and ensuring timely follow-through on customer requests.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of customer requirements, Solidigm products, sales processes, and market dynamics to support opportunity identification and account growth.
  • Assist in preparing customer-facing materials, meeting follow-ups, business reviews, forecasts, and internal updates for strategic and tactical account discussions.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Strategic Planning, Global Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support customer execution and business commitments.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update account plans, opportunity trackers, customer action logs, and account documentation.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity information, meeting notes, customer contacts, and sales activity records in CRM systems.
  • Support pipeline development, forecast preparation, design win tracking, and revenue reporting in partnership with account leadership.
  • Partner with internal teams to help resolve customer issues, coordinate deliverables, and ensure effective operational, logistical, and technical support for assigned accounts.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong interest in sales, customer engagement, semiconductor technology, cloud infrastructure, data centers, or enterprise storage solutions.

  • Curiosity and willingness to develop knowledge of storage technologies, SSD products, customer workloads, and market trends.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under guidance from account leadership.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with peers, managers, cross-functional teams, and customer contacts.

This position is also eligible to participate in Solidigm's restricted stock unit (RSU), restricted cash unit (RCU), and cash bonus programs. In addition, Solidigm offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental life and AD&D insurance; short- and long-term disability; healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, and a company match on eligible 401(k) plan contributions.

The compensation range for this role is $120,500 - $192,800. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
