Human Resources Supervisor

Tx:Team is seeking a high-level, talented, and career-minded candidate for the position of Human Resources Supervisor to join our Home Office team in Indianapolis, IN. As the Human Resources Supervisor, you will support executive leadership and the employees of the company by providing a wide range of Human Resources functions related to recruitment and selection, employee relations, retention, compensation, and benefits. What You’ll DoHuman Resources
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Human Resources department
Supervise the Human Resources Assistant and oversee HR projects
Plan and coordinate activities related to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations
Develop and report key HR metrics to measure department performance
Support Rehab Directors, Managers, Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Team Members with questions regarding company policies and procedures
Manage relationships with payroll, employee leave, workers’ compensation, and benefits vendors
Represent Tx at personnel-related hearings and investigations
Monitor compliance with company policies, state and federal employment laws, and current HR practices
Maintain and oversee regulatory compliance involving employee health and personnel records for Tx and partnering facilities
Maintain HR systems supporting associate demographics, benefits, and payroll administration
Manage and report on Workers’ Compensation cases
Manage and review Leaves of Absence and coordinate related insurance payments
Monitor associates on COBRA and coordinate benefit payments
Respond to Unemployment Eligibility claims
Manage the annual Performance Review process
Conduct exit interviews for terminated employees
Update and maintain HR education and training materials
Manage relationships with schools and coordinate student placements
Recruiting
Partner with the Chief Operations Officer, Vice President of Internal Operations, Directors, and other leaders on candidate offers
Provide salary scale information for positions and support leadership throughout the offer process
New Employee Onboarding
Oversee onboarding schedules and communications for new associates
Coordinate offer letter confirmations, welcome letters, and orientation materials
Review background checks for prospective associates
Benefits Administration
Maintain, monitor, update, and report on benefits databases
Maintain relationships with outside Benefits Consultants
Communicate insurance changes, additions, and deletions
Maintain Cafeteria Plan information
Participate in the annual benefits renewal process
Coordinate benefits presentations and information updates for eligible associates
Monitor associate eligibility for benefit programs
Respond to benefits and insurance inquiries
Oversee 401(k) enrollment and notify eligible associates
Coordinate 401(k) training and informational materials with the plan administrator
Interface with 401(k) plan auditors during the annual plan audit
Reconcile monthly ancillary insurance bills with Accounting
What We’re Looking ForRequired
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent HR experience
Minimum of 3 years functioning independently in a Human Resources role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
Highly organized and systematic approach to work
Ability to consistently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
