Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Security Engineers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and automated infrastructure provisioning workflows across development, testing, staging, and production environments, including building Google Cloud Platform environments from the ground up.

Provision and manage Google Cloud Platform services and data platforms, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Firestore, Cloud Run, and related services. Develop APIs and data connectors to support downstream applications and AI/ML workloads.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments, implementing version control, automated code reviews, governance controls, and repeatable deployment strategies. Support cloud-native AI services and infrastructure for Vertex AI and related workloads.

Configure cloud networking, IAM, service accounts, secrets management, monitoring, logging, and alerting. Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, support disaster recovery readiness, and maintain architecture documentation and operational runbooks.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

6–9 years of experience in cloud data engineering, Google Cloud Platform infrastructure engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud platform automation, including experience building and operating enterprise cloud environments.

Technical Skills:

Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Python, CI/CD Pipelines

Business / Domain Skills:

Experience supporting enterprise cloud data platforms, data integration workflows, and scalable infrastructure for analytics, downstream applications, and AI/ML solutions.

Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting business operations.

Experience supporting cloud platform governance, infrastructure lifecycle management, deployment controls, availability, disaster recovery, and production operations across enterprise environments.

Experience collaborating with data engineering, cloud operations, security, and AI/ML teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable data and AI platforms.

Communication:

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation:

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing reusable infrastructure modules, automating cloud provisioning, and managing deployments across multiple environments using established CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform networking, IAM, container platforms such as GKE, observability, security controls, and cloud-native data processing services.

Experience supporting Vertex AI Agent Engine, Vertex AI Search, Model Armor, and other AI-driven workloads, with strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
