Marketing Manager
Quick Overview
Job Description
Marketing Manager
Create the Story. Drive the Demand. Shape the Brand.
Location: Flexible within the UK, with occasional travel across the portfolio, including our growing European operations.
The Opportunity
At LGH Hotels Management, we're not just operating hotels — we're creating destinations, experiences and moments that people remember.
With a growing portfolio of branded and independent hotels across the UK, and an ambition to expand our European footprint through acquisition, we're looking for a driven, experienced Marketing Manager to help bring our hotels to life and drive demand across the portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketer who loves combining creativity with results, and who is genuinely forward-thinking — comfortable exploring AI and other emerging tools to sharpen campaign performance, content creation and customer insight. You'll work closely with hotel teams, and the commercial leaders to deliver impactful campaigns, strengthen our employer and consumer brands, and ensure our hotels stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
From launching campaigns that fill bedrooms and restaurants to creating content that inspires travellers, no two days will be the same.
If you're passionate about hospitality, storytelling and creating marketing that delivers real commercial impact — and excited by the role technology and AI can play in getting there — we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Delivery
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and revenue across all income streams.
- Support hotels with local marketing initiatives, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Create marketing plans aligned to commercial objectives and business priorities.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share across leisure, corporate and meetings & events segments, including within our expanding European portfolio.
Digital Marketing
- Manage digital marketing activity across social media, email marketing, paid campaigns and web channels.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise activity to maximise ROI, using AI and analytics tools to sharpen targeting and decision-making.
- Drive website traffic, lead generation and customer engagement through effective content strategies.
- Work alongside agency and brand partners to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
Content & Brand Development
- Create engaging content that showcases our hotels, teams and guest experiences.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and collateral.
- Support new hotel openings, refurbishments, launches and major business initiatives, including acquisitions.
- Build compelling storytelling opportunities that strengthen awareness of the LGH portfolio.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner closely with hotel General Managers, Sales teams and Regional Directors.
- Act as a trusted marketing advisor to hotels across the portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with brand partners, suppliers and industry contacts.
- Support internal communication and employer branding initiatives.
Performance & Insight
- Analyse campaign results and customer behaviour — including through AI-enabled tools — to inform future activity.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Produce regular reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
We're Particularly Interested in Individuals Who Have
- Experience within hospitality, travel, leisure or consumer-focused businesses.
- A good track record of delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns, with the drive and commercial focus to make a real impact.
- Strong digital marketing, social media and content creation experience.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Experience working across multiple locations, brands or business units.
- Exposure to European markets would be useful, but interest in learning about this market is more important, understanding how different audiences, cultures and customer behaviours influence marketing strategy — ideally including experience supporting growth through acquisition.
- Experience supporting commercial and sales teams with lead generation, campaign activity and customer engagement initiatives.
- A forward-thinking mindset, genuinely open to using AI and other strategic technology tools to strengthen marketing performance.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
