Maintenance Technician

Express Employment of Covina is seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician for our client located in Claremont.
Hours: Monday-Friday 5:00AM - 1:30PM
Pay Rate: $17.50
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to help with basic maintenance and repairs on production machines and equipment. This is a good opportunity for someone with some hands-on experience who wants to continue learning and grow their maintenance skills.
Responsibilities:

• Help with basic maintenance and repairs on production machines and equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Check equipment and report any problems.
• Help with preventive maintenance to keep machines running properly.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Assist with repairs, adjustments, and equipment setup.
• Work with the production team to help reduce equipment downtime.
• Keep simple records of maintenance and repairs.
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
• Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.
• Report equipment problems to the supervisor or maintenance lead.
• Help with other maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of maintenance, mechanical work, machinery, or tools.
• Some hands-on experience with repairs or equipment is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work well with others.
