Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Integrated Scheduler to support a large-scale technology modernization program. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in integrated schedule management, critical path methodology, Microsoft Project, schedule performance monitoring, risk management, and program-level schedule coordination.

The Senior Integrated Scheduler will develop, maintain, and monitor integrated program schedules across multiple concurrent workstreams. This role will work closely with project managers, project leads, subject matter experts, vendors, contractors, and government/enterprise stakeholders to maintain schedule integrity, identify risks, coordinate dependencies, and provide actionable schedule insights to program leadership.

The successful candidate will also provide coaching and knowledge transfer on Microsoft Project, scheduling methodologies, and schedule performance management to project management teams with varying levels of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage an integrated program-level schedule across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Incorporate milestones, task dependencies, resource constraints, deliverables, and interdependencies into comprehensive program schedules.
  • Perform critical path analysis, resource leveling, baseline management, and schedule performance monitoring using Microsoft Project.
  • Monitor individual workstream schedules and integrate them into the overall program schedule.
  • Identify, analyze, document, and escalate schedule risks and issues.
  • Develop and track mitigation strategies in collaboration with project managers and program leadership.
  • Monitor schedule progress and identify potential impacts to milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and program objectives.
  • Prepare professional-quality schedule reports, dashboards, status materials, and performance updates for project teams and program leadership.
  • Support PMO activities across large-scale technology programs involving multiple project managers and workstream leads.
  • Collaborate with contractor, vendor, and government/enterprise resources in a matrixed environment.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer on Microsoft Project and scheduling best practices.
  • Establish and promote consistent scheduling standards, methodologies, and reporting practices across project teams.
  • Facilitate schedule-related discussions with project managers, SMEs, project leads, and program stakeholders.
  • Translate complex schedule and project management information into clear business-oriented communications.
  • Analyze schedule data and provide actionable recommendations to support program decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Manage competing priorities and multiple workstream schedules in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
  • Support strategic planning, project planning, scope monitoring, and ongoing schedule integrity throughout the program lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project or program schedule management.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting large-scale IT modernization, transformation, or technology programs.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project, including:
    • Critical path analysis
    • Resource leveling
    • Baseline management
    • Schedule performance monitoring
    • Schedule reporting
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated program schedules across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Experience managing resource constraints, milestones, task dependencies, and cross-project interdependencies.
  • Proven experience identifying, documenting, analyzing, and escalating schedule risks and issues.
  • Experience developing and tracking schedule risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience working within Program Management Offices (PMOs) supporting large-scale government or enterprise technology programs.
  • Experience supporting multiple project managers and workstream leads.
  • Experience working in matrixed environments involving contractors, vendors, and government/enterprise resources.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and transfer knowledge on Microsoft Project, scheduling best practices, schedule performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Strong strategic planning, leadership, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex scheduling and project management concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to independently develop professional-quality schedule reports, presentations, and status materials.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring project management teams on scheduling methodologies and Microsoft Project usage.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with project managers, SMEs, project leads, and program stakeholders.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), or equivalent certification, in good standing and maintained throughout the contract period.

  • Demonstrated mentoring and knowledge-transfer experience within large program environments.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ability to work effectively with project managers, project leads, SMEs, program staff, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
