Public Areas Porter-Full Time (Caesars Atlantic City)

This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in all public areas of the Casino. $22.55 per hour

•    Pans/brooms and cleans carpets, polishes furniture, marble, glass, brass, tile, etc.
•    Responsible for picking up and breaking down scaffolding.
•    Services assigned areas daily, cleaning of rest rooms, ash/trash urns and elevators.
•    Completely clean entire Casino floor including, vacuuming gaming tables during “down time”.
•    Must have Security escort when accessing restricted areas.
•    Responsible for trash removal from all public and back of the house areas.
•    Returns all housekeeping equipment to the stockroom at end of shift.
•    Reports emergency repairs to Supervisor immediately and strictly adheres to key control policies.
•    Completes special assignments for the Supervisor-Public Areas and above as requested.

•    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
•    Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job.
•    Previous experience within public areas cleaning preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Ability to walk, stand for long periods of time, up to eight hours.
•    Must be mobile and able to travel throughout the Casino.
•    Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
•    Must be able to use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch
•    Must be able to work in extreme cold and/or heat, dusty, noisy, wet and/or humid environment
•    This position may be exposed to a smoke-filled and loud noise level environment.
