Job Description
Location: Tri State Area - (Hybrid - remote and on-site travel required)
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry, to assist with a large-scale IT project deployment primarily in Long Island and New York City.
The ideal candidate will be based within commuting distance of the Tri State Area as this hybrid role requires a mix of remote and regular on-site work. A personal vehicle is essential for occasional travel to various site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive site assessments for patient collection points across various locations, identifying infrastructure and operational requirements.
- Liaise with the IT Project Manager to evaluate and determine network infrastructure needs, including assessment of network jack requirements.
- Analyze existing collection workflows to identify discrepancies and propose solutions for process optimization and standardization.
- Collaborate with the training team to ascertain and define specific training needs for new systems or processes and contribute to training material development.
- Actively participate in and contribute to technical design calls, offering insights and support.
- Serve as the dedicated onsite point of contact and support lead during all go-live events, ensuring smooth transitions and addressing immediate issues.
- Coordinate the setup and logistical operations of command centers for project deployments and go-lives.
- Manage the ordering and procurement of essential equipment and supplies.
- Oversee vendor procurement processes, ensuring proper vendor selection, contract negotiation, and timely invoice processing and payment.
- Lead and coordinate deployment efforts to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, and customers to align goals and expectations.
- Plan and manage resources, schedules, and priorities to drive efforts to successful completion.
- Monitor and report on project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to ensure smooth project execution.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve shared goals.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Revenue Cycle experience preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to travel across Tri-State Area; a valid driver s license and access to a personal
